ProSoft Technology works with a number of distributors worldwide. Every so often on ProSoft Insights, we will interview a distributor representative to learn more about them, their customers, and their experience with ProSoft’s communication solutions.
For our latest partner interview, we talked with Ronald Grolimund of Staveb, a distributor of industrial solutions in Switzerland that, besides ProSoft, partners with Rockwell Automation, ABB, Schaffner EMV and other companies. Mr. Grolimund serves as CEO and works primarily in sales and marketing. He has worked at Staveb since 1994.
About your customers:
Q: What would you say are your customers’ biggest priorities this year? Anything you’re hearing more about from them?
A: Our customers are focused on energy-efficient solutions, networking, efficiency in production, and innovative products. They’re interested in learning how they can optimize their resources.
Q: What are the top values your clients are looking for when it comes to selecting industrial automation products or services?
A: Service and consultancy with good pricing is essential. Clients always appreciate any way we can help streamline their processes.

Q: How do you value the partnership between Staveb and ProSoft Technology?
A: We have had a good working relationship with ProSoft Regional Sales Manager Michael Repplinger. It was important to have a contact who spoke the local language.
Q: How have ProSoft solutions improved your clients’ operations?
A: Our customers appreciate that ProSoft’s products are easy to use and high-quality. The level of technical support that is available through ProSoft is also valued.
Q: What ProSoft solutions have proven especially popular with your customers? Why?
A: The RLX2 radios are often prescribed. Our customers appreciate the communications backbone they provide, as well as their quick installation.
