PLX30 Family of Ethernet and Serial Gateways

ProSoft Technology’s PLX30 Ethernet and Serial Gateways are powerful, cost-effective solutions for transferring data between devices that use different protocols. The PLX30 gateways offer multiple communication methods (Client, Server, Master, Slave, I/O connections and messaging) to optimize your communication.

These Industrial rated gateways are stand-alone, DIN-rail mounted, and can provide up to four (4) isolated serial ports. They come with an SD Card slot (Industrial SD card optional) for storing configuration files. Dual-port gateways help you decrease setup times.

Our gateways allow you to remotely configure and diagnose issues over an Ethernet network.

The dual-port gateways allow each protocol to reside on a separate subnet, letting you forgo having to change device IP addresses.

By using Multiple I/O communications over EtherNet/IP, you can get your data when you need it. Your control data and diagnostic data can be sent at different update rates allowing you to optimize your Ethernet bandwidth usage.

Our EtherNet/IP gateways include an embedded EDS Add-On Profile, allowing for simplified integration to your RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000 project, reducing commissioning time.

We have training videos and a Global Tech Support team that will help you get your application up and running quickly.

In the event of a disaster, the SD card can be put in a new gateway and the configuration transferred, reducing downtime.
